Abstract

Autologous fat transfer is used for a wide variety of reconstructive purposes and in the areas of hand, facial and breast aesthetics, primarily to treat contour and volume deficits and for tissue rejuvenation.1,2 Modifications to the originally described fat harvesting techniques have aimed to achieve a method which is rapid and inexpensive but maintains a high number of viable adipocytes for transfer to the desired location.
