Answer
The clinical presentation is consistent with a diagnosis of erythema elevatum diutinum (EED) but with a histological overlap of features characteristic of palisaded neutrophilic granulomatous dermatitis (PNGD)
The patient was commenced on dapsone 100mg once daily. After only 4 weeks of treatment, the lesions almost completely resolved.
