Exploring Rhinophyma treatment: An observational study comparing the results of the cold blade technique and ablative fractional CO2-laser

We read with interest the retrospective single-centre observational study by Amiri et al.1 which compares the use of cold blade technique to ablative fractional CO2 laser in the treatment of 15 patients with rhinophyma over a six-year period. The study reports that both modalities are effective, but the cold blade technique is preferable in more severe cases.
