Come and see us - Staff Wellbeing Event
Published Date: 21st September 2023
The Health Work and Wellbeing Team are holding their annual Staff Wellbeing Event in Nightingale House Education Centre at Whiston Hospital.
The library (St Helens and Knowsley) will be having a stall and you can find us in the Lecture Theatre. We will be showcasing:
- Wellbeing Knowledge Box - see first hand what is in the box and how you can request to borrow it for your ward or department
- Working Stress Game - borrow this game for your next team building day/team meeting to help you and your colleagues to talk about the impact of stress and burnout and explore different techniques for managing stress
- Reading Well Collection - can help you to understand and manage your health and wellbeing
- Uplifting books - part of a national collection of feel-good fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
We will also have some freebies to take away with you including colouring pages and "positivity fridge magnets".
There is a strong evidence base that reading for pleasure can improve your health and wellbeing by reducing stress and helping you to relax so come and say hello to us on Tuesday 26th September between 10.00am and 2.00pm and find out how the library can help your wellbeing.
If you can't make it, you can see all our resources on our website https://www.knowledge-nw.nhs.uk/wellbeing-and-staff-networks-resources
Although the libraries at Southport & Ormskirk won't be at the event, they also have similar resources so if you can't attend the event in person you can pop into their library or visit their website https://www.sonhslks.com for more information.
