UK Disability History Month

UK Disability History Month began in 2010 with the aim of creating a platform to focus on the history of the struggle for equality and human rights. It runs from 18th November till 18th December and this year has joint themes of:

• Disability and Hidden Impairment
• Disability Sex and Relationships

We have also produced a Resource List which has a number of books, including Reading Well books, online resources, Trust resources and also information about how we, as a library, can support users who are disabled, dyslexic or have medical conditions.
