World Mental Health Day

Thursday 10th October is World Mental Health Day...

...and the theme for this year is prioritising mental health in the workplace.

The Health Work and Wellbeing Team will be holding an event at Whiston Hospital on Level 5 on Tuesday 8th October from 11.30 to 13.00. They will be raising awareness of mental health in the workplace and offering conversations and resources.

In addition, the Library and Knowledge Service has a range of self-help books in our Reading Well Collection https://www.knowledge-nw.nhs.uk/reading-well-collection. This includes books on topics such as: stress, depression, anxiety, mindfulness and more.

We also have the Working Stress game available to borrow. This game is designed to encourage players to discuss the impact of stress and burnout as well as exploring techniques for managing stress.
